Bulkhead Receptacles

Industrial Fiber Optics manufactures ST, SMA, and custom fiber optic bulkhead receptacles (formerly referred to as active device mounts) for mating TO-18, TO-46, and TO-52 packaged LEDs, photodiodes, phototransistors, photodetectors, and other active optical components. These receptacles provide secure mechanical alignment between optical devices and fiber optic cables, enabling light transmission in sensing, illumination, instrumentation, industrial automation, and communication applications.

Our bulkhead receptacles are compatible with plastic optical fiber (POF), hard-clad silica (HCS) fiber, and other large-core fiber optic cable assemblies. Available in multiple configurations, they are designed to support reliable optical coupling and simplify integration into OEM equipment, laboratory systems, industrial sensors, and custom optical systems.
