Light Pipe Cable and Fiber - Pre-cut Lengths

Industrial Fiber Optics offers a complete product line of flexible light pipes. The pipes include designs that range from simple low-cost light pipe that consists only of optical core with cladding to cable-like pipes with a jacket that protects the light-trapping cladding and the optical core. The base material for all our light pipes is Eska™ or Asahi Kasei optical fiber. Options include those with optical fiber diameters ranging from 0.75 mm to 3.0 mm, cables with 150° C operating temperature, and ones with a very large 3.0 mm optical waveguide. Lengths start at 5 centimeters and go up to 3 meters. On jacketed light pipes, the jacket is stripped 1.5 mm on one end to facilitate insertion into our LED mounts.

Using fully automated equipment we can offer you light pipes at prices just above those of the raw material itself. In addition, you will find the pre-cut lengths to have high quality end polishes and very consistent dimensions.
