Retractile Expandable Fiber Cable Lengths

Industrial Fiber Optics is pleased to offer POF retractile cables that are suitable for all data transmission, security and sensor applications. These specially formed cables expand to their full working length, permit both horizontal and vertical movement and retract to minimum working length as needed. They ensure flexibility, neatness, organization and a clean design with the benefits of low cost and simple terminations that are a trademark of plastic optical fiber. Being able to use a single POF retractile cord to span multiple patch cord lengths assists users in inventory and cost management.

Cables are available in simplex and duplex cable configurations, two jacket material options and three different working lengths. All are made from industry-standard 1.0 mm pmma core diameter with standard 2.2 OD jacket. All retractile cords can be terminated with ST™ Connectors, SMA^® or VersaLink^® connectors. Special working length configurations, cable or connector types and custom terminations are available on request.
