Fiber Optic Rod

A specially formulated acrylic rod for demonstrating the basics of fiber optics when used with a visible light laser. To illustrate, merely align the end of the rod at an angle and watch the laser light rays "bouncing" down the acrylic cylinder by total internal reflection. Ideal for inexpensive but dramatic demonstrations of Snell's Law in action. 15 cm in length.
