Retractile Fiber Cables
Industrial Fiber Optics is pleased to provide availability of the POF Retractile Cord. Retractile Cables are suitable for all data transmission, security and sensor applications. These specially formed POF cables expand to their full working length, allow for movement, and retract to their minimum working length as needed. They ensure flexibility, neatness, organization and a clean design with the benefits of low cost and simple terminations of plastic optical fiber. In addition the ability to use a single POF Retractile Cord to span multiple patch cord lengths assists in inventory and cost management.
Available in simplex and duplex cable configurations, two jacket material options and 3 different working lengths. All cables are made from the industry standard 1.0 mm pmma core diameter with the standard 2.2 OD jacket. All Retractile Cords can be terminated with ST®, SMA® or Versalink® connectors. Special working length configurations, cable or connector types and custom terminations are available on request.
