Industrial Fiber Optics manufactures multiple product lines of premium quality fiber optic patch cords suitable for industrial networking and other applications. The product lines below are made with OFS fiber cable 400/430 µm glass-core fiber and terminated with SMA 905 fiber optic connectors. SMA connections are OFS proprietary crimp and cleave, eliminating the fiber core "pistoning" problem common with this type of fiber and other connectors. For maximum retention strength, epoxy is used to bond the core/cladding and jacket to the connector. These standard patch cords are available either from stock or quickly made to order. Measured insertion loss data for each cable can be provided upon special request, as well as custom cable lengths.
