Industrial Fiber Optics manufactures several product lines of premium quality fiber optic patch cords with the Versatile Link. (Versatile Link, VersaLink and V-pin are all names given to the proprietary fiber optic connector originally developed by HP, which is now owned by Avago.) These patch cords are suitable for any networking and factory automation application. For VersaLink data applications requiring riser or plenum flammability ratings or extended operating distances over 75 meters, Industrial Fiber Optics offers a standard product line of preterminated fiber optic patch cords. Made with OFS HCS® 200/230 µm fiber cable and connectors, and in lengths ranging from 1 to 200 meters, these standard patch cords are available either from stock or quickly made to order. Measured insertion loss data for each cable can be provided upon special request, as well as custom cable lengths.
