Industrial Fiber Optics manufactures multiple product lines of premium quality fiber optic patch cords suitable for industrial networking and other factory automation applications. These particular cords are fiber cables terminated with proprietary Versatile Link connectors. The optical fiber cable consists of a 200 µm glass core, 230 µm cladding, 500 µm buffer layer, surrounded with aramid yarn, protected with a 2.5 mm LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket. These cables are often used to complement 1 mm plastic core fiber for applications requiring operating distances of 50 to 200 meters. This cable series is "riser" LSZH rated for use in enclosed and sealed areas.
