Tempe, Arizona - Mitsubishi International Corporation has named Industrial Fiber Optics (IFO) its U.S. west coast distributor of Eska™ Plastic Optical Fiber and Cable products.
In making its appointment, Mitsubishi said its intent was to improve technical support/response time and material supply for western U.S. customers who have smaller scale requirements for both their production and R&D needs.
Arizona-based IFO manufactures and distributes internationally an extensive line of plastic fiber optics and laser products geared toward educational, research and vocational, as well as industrial applications. IFO was an established distributor of Mitsubishi's Eska™ line, but the regional distributor designation in its own geographic area facilitates shipment and service, as well as providing a central contact point for customers along the Pacific seaboard.
Mitsubishi International Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan, has offices in New York City and 14 other U.S. locations.
